Toward a reference price for organic and HVE wines
A sustainability agreement could soon set a reference price for bulk organic and HVE wines, initiated by Vignerons Coopérateurs de France.
The goal: provide a pricing benchmark based on average production costs, with a margin capped at 20%.
The Rhône Valley, supported by Inter Rhône, is one of three pilot regions alongside Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
The aim? To offer a positive economic signal to producers committed to environmentally responsible practices, at a time when market prices often fail to cover costs.
