When the vines awaken

Every year, it all begins with a key moment: the budbreak of the vines.
In spring, the buds open to reveal the first leaves. This marks the true starting point of the growing cycle.

This phenomenon, which is heavily dependent on weather conditions, is decisive for the rest of the vintage. Early budbreak can expose the vines to late frosts, whilst a later budbreak can delay the harvest.

For winegrowers, this stage requires particular attention. It determines the quality and quantity of the coming harvest.

Budbreak also symbolises the hope of a new vintage: a fragile yet essential promise, reminding us that wine is, above all, a living product, intimately linked to its environment.
