Château des Sources Cuvée S rouge – Costières de Nîmes

Château des Sources (55 hectares) is located to the east of the Costières de Nîmes in the municipality of Bellegarde in the Gard. The three springs on the property, situated in a beautiful 5-hectare park, continuously feed several surrounding lakes.

Rolled pebbles.

Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Marselan.

Powerful and highly expressive nose of ripe fruits and licorice. Notes of pepper and vanilla. On the palate, there are fragrances of spices, berries, and thyme.

Ideal with an eggplant tian or a leg of lamb.

Château des Sources Cuvée S blanc – Costières de Nîmes

The Château des Sources (55 hectares) is located to the east of the Costières de Nîmes in the municipality of Bellegarde in the Gard. The three springs on the property, situated in a magnificent 5-hectare park, continuously feed several surrounding lakes.

Clay-limestone terraces and plateaus of red soils scattered with rolled pebbles.

Marsanne, Roussanne.

Powerful nose of white flowers, exotic fruits, and vanilla. A fresh and straightforward attack on the palate.

To be enjoyed with lobster in sauce or goat cheese.

Château de la Grande Gardiole – Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Initially used as a barn to store the provisions of the Prince of Orange, the Château de la Grande Gardiole, owned by the Rey family, has managed to become one of the largest estates in the appellation.

High alluvial terraces, red soil with large siliceous pebbles.

Grenache, Syrah.

Powerful nose with aromas of ripe red fruits, truffles, and cade.

Best enjoyed with a leg of lamb.

Clos du bois de Menge – Gigondas HVE

Nestled in a rare setting, that of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the vines of Clos du Bois de Menge create their nectar from a unique terroir combining history and richness. Erected on an old convent, the heritage of the Clos is a precious legacy perpetuated from generation to generation.

Terroir of ancient alluvial deposits.

Grenache, Syrah.

Soft and velvety tannins. A nose of undergrowth, violet, clove, and tobacco.

Ideal to pair with traditional dishes such as lamb stir-fry.

Domaine de la Ganse – Vacqueyras Bio

“Ganse” in Provencal refers to the turning point, specifically the end of the vine row that allows one to turn and move from one row to another. Coralie Onde named her estate in memory of her grandparents who always told her, “Go to the end of the Ganse!”

Terroirs of small rolled pebbles, clay-limestone, and scrubland.

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre.

Presence of ripe fruits, black cherries, spices with some notes of scrubland. A full-bodied and luscious wine.

Ideal to pair with duck breast or rabbit stir-fry.

Domaine de la Daumace – Beaumes de Venise HVE

Today managed by Claude Meffe, the Domaine de La Daumace is a lovely property of six hectares nestled at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. This family vineyard surrounds an old 18th-century silk farm. This estate is composed of 75% Grenache from old vines: nearly 50 years old!

Miocene sandy soils, south-facing slopes.

Grenache, Syrah.

Fruity and complex nose with aromas of red fruits, as well as notes of pepper and licorice.

To be enjoyed with Provencal-style veal paupiettes.

Domaine Saint Alimant – Rasteau HVE

Born from a terroir of Roman remnants, the vines of the Rey family draw their richness from history. Sheltered from the mistral in the locality of Alimant, the old Grenaches (over fifty years old) offer a unique, elegant, and characterful wine.

Brown and limestone soils.

Grenache, Syrah.

Intense nose of black fruits (currant, raspberry), undergrowth, vanilla, and pepper.

To be enjoyed with a salad of preserved duck gizzards or a duck shepherd’s pie.

Domaine de la Font de Salignan – Cairanne

The domain of La Font de Salignan has been a family property for several generations. Its name pays tribute to the fountain, a historical monument on the estate dating back to the 17th century. Flavien NICOLAS is the current owner of this estate, which has become one of the most important in the appellation.

Piedmont terroir at the entrance of the village, clay, sand, and scrubland.

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre.

Notes of black fruits, spices, and scrubland. Beautiful ripeness with a lot of crunchiness on the fruit.

Ideal with a roasted rack of lamb or grilled pork ribs.

Domaine Blacieux – Saint Joseph

The Domaine de Blacieux is a family estate of 18 hectares, now run by two brothers. Nature is at the forefront of all considerations. On this exceptional terroir, the sole motto is the respect for nature.

Schists and gneiss on a granite base.

Syrah.

Intense and wild nose of violet, blackcurrant, and raspberry.

To be enjoyed with curry chicken or lamb tagine.

Domaine Dame Guilherme – Côtes du Rhône Villages

This estate, formerly owned by the religious ladies of the Abbey of Prébayon, owes its name to “Dame Guilherme,” who was the last abbess of Prébayon. This family-run estate since 1955 is now managed by her grandson Hugues Meffre and her daughter Aurélie.

Clay-limestone plateau with a strong presence of rolled pebbles.

Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre.

Aromas of black fruits (blackberries) and very ripe red fruits (blueberry jam) underscored by notes of scrubland.

To be enjoyed with a Basque chicken or a cassoulet.

Domaine Villessèche rouge – Côtes du Rhône

Nestled between the Cévennes and Provence, in the heart of the beautiful hamlet of Pougnadoresse, Domaine de Villessèche is a family-owned property where parents and children come together to offer wine enthusiasts a powerful and elegant wine.

Clay-limestone hillsides / Loess.

Syrah, Grenache.

Complex and rich nose of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), spices (pepper, licorice), and black olives.

To be enjoyed with a daube (slow-cooked meat stew) or a roast venison.
